This was one of our best Victoria Youth Triathlons yet!
After 25 years that's pretty good! In fact, it's damn good! It's all thanks to the great volunteers. Thanks to all of you for giving up your Sunday for a wonderful community event.
If we are to produce gold medal Olympians then events like ours are paramount.
Extra special thanks to those of you who took on leadership roles this year, REGISTRATION (Bruce, Rosemary, and Marilyn) and VOLUNTEERS (Mike, Greg, and Ian), and the RUN ROUTE (Pat and Audrey).
Continued thanks to the ongoing folk who have supported me every year, Mike and Linda with results, Annabelle in transition, Kathy with the counting team, Jacqui with the bike route marshalls, food, and volunteers, Steve with the run routes, Mark and Avila with the swim, Jeff with registration, Dale with equipment and finish line, Rita with the food, and Norm with past equipment.
Some of you have been supporting this event for many years, decades in fact. Mark Lancaster has been involved since the 1980's.......followed closely by Stephen Baker and Norm Ringstad......
